Rampart specialises in engineering and overhaul of Carriage and Wagon Rolling Stock,we provide the following services;

We operate from a rail-connected workshop located on the former Railway Technical Centre site in Derby and undertake a wide range of disciplines on all types of rail vehicles including;

BR std coaches MK1 – MK3
Heritage railway timber framed coaches
Freight wagons, all types
Infrastructure designed vehicles
Internal systems

The workshop has a capacity for 6 vehicles and can accept vehicles delivered by road and rail. Work is carried out to specifications relevant to the operating requirements or proposed usage of the vehicles.

For vehicles that are registered to operate on Network Rail, work is carried out to comply with Railway Group Standards. The Company is a qualified rolling stock repair contractor and is registered under the Link-up approval scheme operated for Network Rail.
